Through the Night I Walk

Through the night I walk,
In the warm summer air.
To the fireflies I talk,
And let out every care.
The peaceful night surrounds me,
And all the world around me
Seems to be asleep.
Beside the willow tree we’ll meet.

Through the night I walk,
In the crisp autumn air.
To the stars I talk,
Considering every care.
The fallen leaves surround me,
And everything around me
Seems to be asleep.
Under the glistening sky we’ll meet.

Through the night I walk,
In the icy winter air.
To snowy hills I talk,
Explaining every care.
Soft snowflakes! They surround me,
And everyone around me
Seems to be asleep.
Next to the frozen lake we’ll meet.

Through the night I walk,
In the promising spring air.
To you, my friend, I talk,
Not having any cares.
The blooming flowers surround me,
And the whole earth around me
Seems to be asleep.
No matter where, my friend, we’ll meet.
